1.3 The buyer is a natural person – a consumer or a legal entity that has submitted an order via the e-shop. A consumer is a natural person who, when entering into a contract, is not acting within the scope of their business activity.
1.4 Legal relations are governed in particular by Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection, the Civil Code, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Article 2 – Order and Conclusion of Contract
2.1 In the e-shop, the customer selects a breakfast box (Classic, Fit, Sweet), or accessories, and chooses a specific delivery date via the calendar in the shopping cart.
2.2 Orders for a given day can be placed no later than 5:00 PM on the previous day. Orders received after this time will be processed for the next possible available date.
2.3 An order is submitted by clicking the button marked “Order with payment obligation.” By submitting the order, the buyer confirms that they have read these GTC and agree to them.
2.4 A purchase contract is concluded upon delivery of the order confirmation to the buyer's e-mail address. The seller reserves the right not to confirm an order in case of unavailability of ingredients, outside of the delivery area, or in case of an obvious pricing error; in such a case, the seller will immediately inform the buyer and refund any payment already made.
Article 3 – Price and Payment Terms
3.1 All prices in the e-shop are stated including VAT (if the seller is a VAT payer) and are final. The delivery fee, if charged, is stated before submitting the order.
3.2 The buyer can pay for the goods using the following methods: payment card.
3.3 When offering a discount, the seller indicates the lowest price at which the goods were offered during the 30 days prior to the discount.
3.4 The tax document (invoice) will be issued and delivered to the buyer electronically by the seller.
Article 4 – Delivery Terms
4.1 Goods are delivered in the Poprad area and its surroundings. The system verifies delivery availability for a specific address based on the postal code during the ordering process.
4.2 Goods are delivered on the selected delivery date, generally between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
4.3 Method of delivery: in-house delivery. The buyer is obliged to ensure receipt of the shipment at the provided address at the agreed time.
4.4 As these are fresh food products, the buyer is obliged to store the goods at a suitable temperature immediately after receipt and consume them on the day of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
Article 5 – Withdrawal from the Contract (Important Exception)
5.1 In general, a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
5.2 However, this right DOES NOT APPLY to goods sold by ránko.sk. These are goods:
- that are subject to rapid deterioration or spoilage (fresh breakfast food), and at the same time
- that are made according to the specific requirements of the consumer and prepared for a specific ordered delivery date.
5.3 For the above reasons, the consumer cannot withdraw from the contract for the supply of breakfast boxes pursuant to Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection. The buyer acknowledges this fact upon submitting the order.
5.4 If the seller adds goods to the offer that are not subject to the exception (e.g., non-perishable products), the right to withdraw within 14 days applies to such goods; the procedure and form are provided in the document “Instructions on the right of withdrawal.”
5.5 Cancellation or modification of an order before its binding processing (before the cut-off time) can be done free of charge by contacting the seller.
Article 6 – Complaints and Liability for Defects
6.1 The seller is responsible for ensuring that the goods have the required quality, quantity, and composition upon receipt. The procedure for filing a complaint is governed by a separate Complaints Procedure, which is a part of these GTC.
6.2 Due to the nature of the goods (fresh food), the buyer is obliged to report obvious defects (damaged packaging, incorrect composition, missing goods) immediately, no later than on the day of delivery.
Article 7 – Allergens and Food Information
7.1 Information regarding the ingredients and allergens of individual products is stated next to the product in the e-shop, or the seller will provide it upon request. The buyer is obliged to take into account any of their own allergies and intolerances.
Article 8 – Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
8.1 If a buyer-consumer is not satisfied with the way a complaint was handled or believes their rights have been violated, they may contact the seller with a request for remedy. If the seller provides a negative response or does not respond within 30 days, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal for the initiation of alternative dispute resolution.
8.2 The ADR entity is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), or another authorized legal entity registered in the list of ADR entities maintained by the Ministry of Economy of the SR. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection, SOI Inspectorate for the Prešov Region, Obrancov mieru 6, 080 01 Prešov 1, Supervision Department. tel. no. 051/772 15 97, fax no. 051/772 15 96, email: pr@soi.sk
Article 9 – Final Provisions
9.1 The seller reserves the right to change these GTC; concluded contracts are subject to the version in effect at the time the order was submitted.
9.2 These GTC become effective on September 21, 2026.
